Who: Make A Difference Day is an initiative of the Philanthropic Athletes Foundation

You are cordially invited to ask your friends, family members, acquaintances and business associates to make a donation to your favourite charitable organization, as you walk, run, cycle or even paddle, directly for that organization’s benefit.

In 2006 over 3 million Americans volunteered on Make A Difference Day. This will be Canada’s first Make A Difference Day!

1) Please advise the charity that you will be raising funds for, of your intention and inform them about Make A Difference Day and this website.

2) Please email MakeADifferenceDay@gmail.com and advise us that you will be raising funds, and for which charitable organization you will be doing so. We will send you additional information concerning the event.

3) Simply ask your friends, family members, business and other acquaintances to make out their donation cheques, to the organization of your choice, ensuring that the cheque mentions their correct address for tax receipting purposes.

4) Once you have accumulated all of the cheques, simply bring or mail them to the organization that you have raised funds for.

5) After you have finished accumulating the donations please let us know how much you have raised and for which organization.
